About

After gaining a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from St Martins School of Art, John spent many years running a design studio in London as well as teaching at Epsom School of Art and at De Montfort University. He has been painting full-time since 2002, completing the MA level Drawing Year at the Royal Drawing School in 2003. Since then John has produced work for many private collections and has shown several times at The Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition and at the BP portrait award at the National Portrait Gallery, London.
